Our Mission:
Carpet Nursing Service is focused on helping people feel better and live healthier lives in the long term by making the indoor air quality healthier. We provide a combination of different methods for a deeper and more detailed level of carpet cleaning as well as upholstery, mattress, and air duct sanitation. Combined with these methods, we use unique, safe, and powerful certified green and botanical cleaning solutions. We treat every customer as if she or he were the only customer we were ever going to have, and provide service as
if we were doing it for our own family. We believe in protecting our earth, our health, and our environment, and every action adds up, no matter how small it is.

Carpet Cleaning:
We follow more than the 4 steps recommended by the Carpet and Rug Institute for a real, not a teaser, cleaning. We thoroughly inspect the carpet to identify the type of fabric, pre-existing conditions, and spots; then, we vacuum with a professional HEPA double sealed filter vacuum. Our commercial vacuum extracts deep soil, dust mites, and other allergens from fabrics, and traps them into the filters and a sealed tunnel. This keeps dust from leaking back into your carpet, furniture, or air ducts. People with allergies will feel the difference in the quality of the air right after this step of cleaning. After this step, we work on every spot that requires special attention and apply one of our natural spot removal for treatments. Then we spray and if needed, we scrub the carpet with a professional, yet gentle, scrubber to remove any other particles or grease attached to the fabrics. Next, we rinse your carpet with another high tech machine, which at the same time removes soil and stains that the scrubber loosened from the fabrics. This machine absorbs more water from the carpet than any other on the market, allowing your carpet to dry faster. Finally, we re-inspect and brush the carpet by hand to give the fabrics an even look and soft touch. |
Mattress Cleaning:
We focus our attention on the dust mites' ecosystem; up to 60% of dust mites in a household live in the mattresses, they feed up from dead human skin present in the fabrics and from the moisture of perspiration. The feces of the dust mites are a very powerful allergen and can trigger several types of allergies like sneezing, eye itching, asthma, and rhinitis, among others. We provide a comprehensive botanical mattress sanitation that helps reduce the presence of these allergens. We also deodorize the mattress with a powerful vacuum and clean the fabrics with a low moisture tool; after that, we can even apply an allergy relief treatment as a final touch. Again, all this is natural, with no toxic, no VOC, no chemicals—it is only good for you.

Upholstery:
We apply the same principles and procedures for mattress cleaning and sanitation, since dust mites also live in the cushion of your upholstery and cause the same problems when the dust is released into the household air, but additionally we focus on the fabric, giving it a newer, fresh look with revitalized colors.

Air Ducts:
This is one of our favorites. With a tiny camera, we explore the inside of the air ducts; you will see tons of dust and debris attached to the walls of the ducts, slowly releasing into the household or office air, ending up in your carpet, furniture, and the lungs of your family, kids, pets, employees, patients, and customers. Before your eyes, our powerful vacuum system will show you how the dust and debris are removed and passes through our vacuum vent. Then, we go beyond your expectations by spraying the inside of the duct with a non-toxic, non hazardous, totally safe botanical disinfectant, registered by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) for air duct sanitation to kill bacteria, fungi, TB, and even HIV.
